2021 CDXC DX Marathon Challenge

2021 saw a strong interest in the CDXC DX Marathon Challenge, with almost 400 participants entering and over 300 entrants with more than 100 DXCC’s. Well done all for taking this Challenge.

This DXCC Challenge has rules which encourage all types of station through its membership to compete against even the large DX stations and in doing so gives the smaller stations the opportunity to improve year on year through checking their updated logs by using Club Log and LOTW.

Due to the rules, each Trophy may be won by an operator only once in any 3 year period. Oms, PY5EG, Dick PA3FQA, Rob MW0RLJ and Savas SV2AEL all are restricted from winning certain Trophies this year

In the No Mode Challenge produced a tie at the top between Savas SV2AEL and Andrew M0NKR, both with an excellent score of 249 DXCCs. In the event of a tie the number of Band Slots decides the winner and by a clear margin Savas, SV2AEL wins The Club Log Trophy, Salver and Certificate.

In the CW Challenge, The GM4FAM Trophy, Salver and Certificate is awarded to Chris G3SJJ. 

In the Phone Challenge, The G3NUG Trophy, Salver and Certificate is awarded to Gary G0FWX.   

In the (MGM) Challenge, The President’s Trophy, Salver and Certificate is awarded to Michael M0AGP.

The top Foundation category was won by Darren M3DFW. The top Intermediate category was won by Lee 2E0LMA. No Rookies were entered this year. The top scoring non-members are as below.

All scores announced are totals after adjudication.
