    Hi John,

I wonder if you have found your Acom 1000.  If you are still looking, give me a call on 01527 541502.  I used to live at Tickhill!

    Hello John'

I gather you are still interested in obtaining one of these brutes; actually, they are quite tame.

This one is 12 years old but has never been operated at high power.  Today is the first time it has been run up to 400 watts and this was into a one to one dummy load.  I took it up to its full rated output for a few seconds into a 3 minute rated dummy load.  This was on 40 metres.  It also delivers full output on 6 metres and top band.

It has never been used on QSK full break-in that I believe is not good for the antenna relay.

My price £1095 includes the 1KW Dummy Load and connecting cables to my K3 transceiver.  I will also deliver it to you and wait while you set it up and test it on the dummy load and you are satisfied with it,

It has been kept in a warm centrally heated shack.  It has hardly been switched on during the six years and before that would have only been used for chasing band slot holes and new IOTAs.  I am not a chatterbox on the air.

The time has come for me to downsize and this and antennas are the first candidates for re-housing.
