CDXC Awards

The Club makes a number of operating awards to recognise achievement in various DXing areas:

'Local Heroes Award' for dx operators resident in 'rare' locations

CDXC LF Challenge - an annual competition for members held in March  of each year on the 160, 80 and 40m bands

CDXC HF Challenge - an annual competition for members held in September of each year on the 15, 12, 10 and 6m bands

CDXC DX Marathon Challenge - a year-long competiion for members running from January 1st through December 31st of each year on all bands, 160m - 6m

CDXC Cup for the leading single operator UK entrant in the CQ WW Phone Contest

CDXC Plaques for CDXC members' performance in the CQWW contest

Geoff Watts Memorial Trophy for the leading island home station in the RSGB IOTA Contest

Award of Merit Programme for outstanding and unselfish contributions to amateur radio and dx-ing

The awards programmes are managed by the Contest and Awards manager, Derek Bate, G4XEE.
